What I've been up to

30 Days, 30 Projects

I'm challenging myself to build a new project every day for 30 days straight, starting tomorrow May 22nd, 2026.

Why? Well, it sounds fun. I'm bored and have been reaching for ways to be creative more often. And I have let my software skills atrophy after a 6 month sabbatical. This challenge -- and making this website to share it publicly -- is a means to shock myself back into the flow of making things.

Rules:

  • The medium for the project can be anything as long as other people can look at, read it, or use it. Almost everything will be vibe coded software, but it could be a photo of a great meal I cooked or a mug I made at a ceramics studio, etc. I'll probably try to write a few blog posts too.
  • Projects can be super small, but all have to be independent efforts from scratch.
  • Proof of each project must be posted to tlarh.com by midnight pacific time. Proof can be a URL or picture.
  • Ok to batch build or pre-build projects and release them over future days as long as they are built after the start of the challenge. I'll probably need to do this when traveling or with super packed days.

Wish me luck!
